Life Groups

Life is meant to be lived in community, not alone. Through Life Groups, you have the opportunity to extend your experience and connect with others (in a group of 8-10 people) experiencing life together, growing in authentic relationship with each other and God, and impacting the world with the love of Jesus. Check out this short video clip for a glimpse into group life.

Life Group FAQ

NOTICE: All groups are currently meeting online due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Groups meet weekly in homes, online, or other locations around town.  We believe that God wants to have an athentic and loving relationship with us.  The Bible is God's communication device and we love to connect ourselves and others with Jesus and His Word.  Each Life Group has a facilitator and an apprentice that lead the group through timeless stories from word of God and allow the words to speak directly to us individually.  Groups vary in size, but not in purpose.  They exist to help people grow and mature in Christ.  You can expect a warm, welcoming environment, you can expect great conversation, and you can expect to be received just the way you are!

There is not a set length of days, weeks, or months in a group. Life Groups are all about maturing in Christ. As people within each group grow and mature, we believe it is our responsibility to release them, enabling them to go and be disciple makers. It is one of the most celebrated times of our Life Groups when we branch a group, sending folks out to grow and expand the kingdom of God. This is the Great Commission (Mt. 28:18-20) being carried out!

Every group is different. We want to help you get connected to the right group, so make sure to let us know if you would like to join a group with childcare. Some of our groups split the costs for a babysitter, some of our groups don’t offer any type of childcare, and some make other arrangements.

We use what’s called “orality”, the art of story telling. We pair this with discussion questions, in hopes that our groups engage in honest conversation and get an opportunity to see the stories of the Bible come to life. At times, we intentionally follow the messaging and/or biblical text of our Saturday worship services.

We will help you find a group near you based on your your interest and proximity. Every group chooses a different time to meet, if a certain day of the week works better for you make sure to include that information when you sign up. If you would rather search for a group yourself you can do so by going here.
